Switching from Aptamil to Mamia

Has anyone done this? I know some people switch from cow and gate. I’m combi feeding and my little one is fine on Aptamil, generally 0 spit ups. Just from a cost perspective I was considering changing, just don’t want to upset his tum.

No advice on the change sorry, but you can get Aptimil from lidl & savers for £12 & also Costco do 3 for £28 I think it is. Not sure if that helps x

Oh good to know! I’ll check Lidl tomorrow and I’m going to Costco on Thursday 😃 xx

Yep we switched from aptamil to mamia a couple of weeks ago and baby has been totally fine with it. 😊

Funnily enough we are swapping the other way at the moment from Mamia to Aptamil, only because aptamil is much easier to get in almost every shop! Our little girl has been on mamia since birth and hasn’t been affected at all by switching to aptamil. I think the formulations are very very similar, and I read online that the ingredients are exactly the same!

We switched from Aptamil to Mamia on the advice of our health visitor. She said it was half the price but made in the same factory and to the same specification as Aptamil. Our little one has been absolutely fine changing, you wouldn't even know

@Sofia that’s my only worry, that I’d be caught short if Aldi wasn’t open or it was out of stock!

Aptamil doesn’t have palm oil in the blend, but otherwise ingredients are the same. Nutritional value varies slightly - we are just about to make the change from Aptamil to Mamia so fingers crossed!
