Doona or evenflo car seat stroller combo?

Does anyone have any experience with either of these 2 stroller car seats? Doona or evenflo. I think they’re both all in one car seat and stroller. You can strap them into a base then take out easily? Are they safe? Easy to take in and out of car while attachment is a breeze? Is it heavy or no? Travel friendly? They appear to be pretty much exactly alike. I have photos I can show in the comments upon request, but I was able to add one photo shown below. Tysm!

I've heard the Doona is good my friend used one

If you’re going to do a stroller/car seat 2-n-1, then go for Evenflo. Much lighter weight, better looking, newer model, and can be detached from wheels when needed, unlike the Doona! It also rides a lot smoother. Evenflo 100% because it has more features. They’re about the same price anyways, so!

My son outgrew the doona by height at 8 months. It’s safe and easy but didn’t last us long. It is heavy.

I have a doona. We loved it and she still fit Into it at 18m. She’s 50th centile

My sister loves her’s. Her 12 month old still fits. I haven’t researched the safety aspects of it personally so don’t know how safe it is. It’s never listed in the top safest list I’ve seen.

@Darely tysm. I was reading the reviews and some were saying the evenflo was a bit heavier but I didn’t know the Doona doesn’t disattach from the wheels! Thats a huge plus but the ads make it vague. I saw the Doona is made of aluminum which made me nervous. And yea I actually evenflo pricing way better😆

@Kelly oh wow. Do u know what %tile ur lo is? Our 1st 2 babes were in the 78th and 98th or somewhere around there so I was wondering if this may be a problem since it says 35 lbs. My kids are tall and skinny too so they’ll fit the weight requirement but I’m not sure how long for the space! Honestly I loved my zen yo-yo and never looked back after using the nuna for only a shorter timeframe w the last 2 …but that’s an expensive option! Lol

98th for height and weight but maxed out on height first

The doona is banned in several countries in Europe and Canada because it doesn’t pass their standard safety crash tests

@Jeanne dang that’s crazy but makes sense

@Jeanne I would love to believe that the evenflo is much safer and passes the tests. The weight was the first thing I noticed concerning safety thank u for sharing!

@Kelly did you get a new one?

@Jeanne you just need to buy the EU model, we have different safety standards but it’s not that one is better than the other. US stuff has a chest clip and wider set straps. EU is required to just have a single button release to get the baby out of the seat.

@amy we use a large convertible, the Britax Romer First Class Plus. It’s heavy as heck but easy to install, easy to clean, and should last us a while. We’re still rear facing and have done the front facing install on airplanes, both were easy.
