What to do when your patience runs thin?

So, I have 2 boys, with another one on the way. I have been potty training our 3yo for almost a year with no end in sight. The rewards are not helpful. Our 15mo is becoming very tempermental and wants more attention or will start to lash out. My husband has been on call for several months and has occasionally needed to go on his overnight/week long trips. That's not the issue. My question is, what do you do when your patience is on thin ice and everything is about to set you off? We don't have family close by or any close friends who are willing to come help, so additional help is either limited or non-existent. Both of us are exhausted and are mainly frustrated at ourselves because we're running on fumes most of the time, so we can't fully give 100% all the time. What do you do to get back to your 100%? We're at a loss.

Omg I feel you here. Been there so often since getting pregnant with our third. I’ve postponed the potty training till January. If I feel like I am about to go stir crazy & need some time, I’ll sit the boys in there chairs & put on their favorite show & take a 10min break outside looking @ nature. I don’t have any friends or family nearby & my husband works a lot. Sometimes naps are given earlier then scheduled because I need that extra hour earlier some days then others. Also I’ve been told that if you’re 100% is only coming up to 80%, YOU ARE DOING EXCELLENT!!! Remember it’s sometimes just getting thru the day & your LOs love & adore you

I'm in the same spot. Baby just turned 2 and potty training has gone to crap. But I've decided she'll be ready when she's ready. I've been feeling overwhelmed lately as well. I just put her in her room with a snack close the door and watch her from the baby cam. Then I take a moment alone. I go wash the dishes and watch my favorite show or sometimes go outside and take a walk around the yard or sit on the grass barefoot. It really helps. We can't beat ourselves up for feeling the way we do. Sometimes we just have to let them cry it out. They'll be ok. YOURE DOUNG GREAT MAMA !!
