How often can you give calpol - teething!

Baby is 4.5 months and has second tooth showing under the gum, she has been crying in her sleep which I thought was she was in pain, last night I gave her calpol and she slept till now! Is it safe to give calpol at night if she wakes but if the tooth doesn’t actually break through for a while how long can I do that for!!

Yes you can give her calpol every few hours like it states on the packaging and even if the tooth hasn't come through. Have you tried anbesol gel? Thats really good it numbs the pain i use that for teething and if she is still unsettled then i give her calpol but anbesol does its magic quick fast

Thank you! I was also wondering how many days I could keep giving it if she only has it once a night?

I think it depends i would pick up some teething gel and give her that and calpol only if she seems like shes really unsettled in pain. You don't want to give her calpol for a week
