Itchy scar

Can anyone recommend any products which help with reducing itchiness on the scar line please? I’m just over 4 weeks PP and not had any complications with it so far and it’s healing well (got a tiny bit of scabbing in middle of line and the stitch where it has been knotted in one corner left to go before I would say it had closed up)

Vaseline or sudocreme

I cut the knot out as it was irritating

Don’t put anything on it yet! Wait until you are FULLY healed after 6 weeks and then you can put things on it x

Neosporin pain itch scar is what i use

Don’t put anything until after 6 weeks, make sure is clean and dry

Once your incision is completely healed, use BioOil on it and massage it into the scar 1-3x a day. Massaging it is important because it breaks down the scar tissue and allows it to heal properly and more uniform. This’ll help it decrease in appearance both in color and if it’s raised at all. should help with the itching also as it continues to heal. Itchiness is good though, it’s a part of the healing process ❤️ just DONT use it until your incision is entirely and completely healed up and is literally only a scar. I mention itchiness with the scarring and it helping only because my scars will itch if they’re fresh scars.
