Amazon baby registry question

There is an item purchased from the registry however i dont see any tracking or delivery info. Customer service says its delivered but i havent received it. Beyond that they havent been helpful in telling me where it was delivered and keep transferring me from one dept to another. Some online forums say the purchaser may have gotten it delivered to their house instead or shipping it directly to mine and hence i dont see any tracking. Does anybody know if this is true or has experienced this with their registry too? I dont want to ask the purchaser as it might seem rude.

That’s what happened with my Amazon registry! If they selected their address instead of yours than it won’t give you any tracking information. Your best bet is to contact the purchaser just to be safe and see if they did get it :)

Most people who bought for our registry had it shipped to their house and brought it to our shower so I might be that. Side note, we made the Amazon registry for our baby we had in August and we still get the "completion discount" on things we add to our cart (things shipped and sold by Amazon). Basically anything I want to buy on Amazon that's shipped and sold by them I put on the registry to see if I get a discount, it's great. You'd be surprised by the number of non baby things you can just get 15% off. Was great for Xmas gifts lol

It also usually (frustratingly) doesn’t show the tracking to you, just the purchaser. Contact the person who purchased and ask them to double check

Thanks all for your quick responses. Ill wait for a few days until the shower and then ask the purchaser if needed. It would have been nice if Amazon would have a note or something to say that the purchaser got it delivered to a different address than the one on the registry. That would save so much trouble of trying to track it down.

Yes the purchaser bought it and will bring it to the baby shower. But you can see who bought it.

I had some issues with the Amazon registry. It didn't show that the item was already purchased so we got a few duplicates. Luckily returns are easy

I had the same issue with one item. I contacted the purchaser because i did not want their money to be wasted too. Purchaser contacted amazon and got the item redelivered.
