Amazon publishing colouring books is one I've seen come up. Tiktok can be good if you've got something interesting to talk about / show - like if you're doing crafts you can film the process and sell the results too. If you're on mat leave you do have to be careful about side hustle income esp as it all gets reported from Etsy, Vinted, Ebay etc. to HMRC directly now. It's worth checking the Turn2Us benefit calc too as sometimes earning less gets you more money 🙈
Look into things u can stage on esty don’t do commissions based joys like FM as u don’t have a stable income I found it’s better for my partner to work and me doing nothing that having a little job Uc covers a lot for us I have a 2.5yo 22 months and 10 month once the kids are at nursery I would look at a little part time job
From general experience there is very rarely any such thing as quick wins in this space, I know may people working their asses off on Etsy etc and they make peanuts hardly enough for it to be worth having an account. Also I’d avoid getting dragged into these get rich quick schemes and pyramid schemes again I’ve seen people lose money and time if anything. Doesn’t mean you can make a success of it but just approach it with caution and make sure your managing your expectations and be careful to look up anything you go into from tax liability to and contracts of clauses you sign up to xx Personally I’d look for job on indeed or linked in that are remote work I’m sure amazon have advisor roles where you work completely flexibly from home but this is employment and would likely impact statutory mat leave entitlement and/or mat allowance x
Thinking about this again, If your partner can find an evening job, that can sometimes be better as baby will usually be sleeping evenings after a few months. If he has the energy for that, it'll probably be more reliable income and not affect your mat pay. Plus after a full on day with a baby, it's v hard to do side hustle stuff 🙈 x
same situation 🤔🤔xx
