If you have had this brand/colour of test were the evaps bad?

Tesco pink dye tests! So confused! I had a line around the 6 min mark (we aren’t trying and I wasn’t expecting anything so just left my timer going), the instructions say 5mins then read. Ofc it got more obvious then over the next several minutes. It has colour in person too (not sure if that is obvious here). The annoying thing is I took another a few hours later and it has no line whatsoever, so on one hand I’m thinking the first one must have been a fluke, on the other hand I’m thinking with it having no indent/evap whatsoever, the first must be positive. I’m 8 months postpartum with my second…if I’m pregnant this will mean 3 under 3 which isn’t the plan. I’m also getting married in 4 months. I’m breastfeeding but well aware that isn’t perfect for contraception esp after 6 months, but other half always pulls out. We never got caught out when he was pulling out for 3-4yrs before we had our first, I’ve only ever gotten pregnant when trying and not had a period yet so this really would be super fertile almost immaculate conception…however the reason I tested is because I’ve been feeling sick, I had palpitations last week (always get them when pregnant), sore gums, light period pain, extra vaginal mucus and my son has become more fussy at night on the boob which makes me wonder if my breast milk tastes different! I breastfed right through my last pregnancy so would do that again anyway but aahhh I’m so confused! I have easy@home and one step tests coming later which I’ve never had evaps or any line on unless pregnant. Then ordered first response and will use them if the first 2 show anything at all. I did want a third but I didn’t want to get pregnant until my second was 18 months this time…I really struggled with the 1-2 transition and being pregnant with a toddler so I’m freaking out a little…

I’d go and get a clearblue early detection digital.. they’re pricy but they’ll give you a for sure answer! X

You could be super early pregnant? A false negative is more likely than a false positive.

I’d go get a different brand. It is very possible that you ovulated and would have been getting your first pp period but got pregnant instead. This actually happens so often that my dr says breast feeding isn’t good enough birth control even in the first 6 months

Just an update, pretty certain it was a chemical pregnancy unfortunately! We weren’t planning but still a bit upset.

@Jessica I'm sorry to hear that 😔
