Panic - Cold Water Sterilising

Sorry, cooled boiled water?

If I use cold water sterilising for my Nuby rapid I also rinse it with cooled boiled water as well per instructions. Edited as I read the post wrong, I don’t think it should matter? I’m sure Milton you don’t need to rinse after x

@Sev that's what the instructions say - I'm guessing leaving it to cool after being boiled so the water is sterile?

@Abbie will it harm my baby if my partner hasn't been?

Is it for bottles or the nuby rapid? Sorry I’m just abit confused about the whole thing.

I never did and my little girl was always fine, use rapid cool every day and haven’t rinsed after Milton either.. didn’t know you had to!

@Abbie how did I not know this?! Are you meant to rinse the nuby with cooled water every time then as I sterilise after each use?

We've been using it for the rapid cool and bottles while we wait for our new steriliser. It's the Boots version of Milton Tablets we've been using which say to rinse which is why I'm panicking!

@Emma so with Milton you don’t have to rinse, but I had boots sterilising tablets and they said to rinse. I’ve made a right fart of my comments because my brain isn’t functioning this morning and I didn’t read it correctly 🤣 x

Incognito, I would just make sure from now to rinse as I’ve just seen you use the boots ones, of course if you’re worried it has upset babies tummy maybe speak to a health visitor or gp and hopefully they can offer more advice as I can’t find anything on google x

We had this issue with the Tesco sterilising tablets, so switched to Milton way less faff

When we was in hospital they gave me a cold water steriliser with milton in as I was pumping milk for my partner to feed too and I said so after we sterilise and take them out i should rinse them and they said there's no need to rinse after as the bottles are sterilised and your washing the sterilised stuff off so since we've been home we've used it and have never rinsed the bottles before filling with milk x

Use Milton, you don't have yo worry about rinsing them. 15 mins in the sterliser, shake it off and done xx
