Nursing chair yay or nay?

New mom due June 17, have no idea what I’m doing but trying to get into the nesting mode! Manage to put up wallpaper for nursery, and a few things here and there. Undecided about a nursing chair. I love it for aesthetic value but do we really use it and for how long? With all the other items on the list just wondering if necessary and if anyone found something good under $300??

Stopped by to say my daughter is 11 months and we use the glider every single day. It is my number one staple item

My son is 7 months and we use it every day multiple times a day…. Feeding him, rocking him to sleep, reading books to him, taking selfies 🤣

I don’t have room for one but I would get one if I did, my baby is 12 weeks and I sat in one at a shop the other day and wished I had one for feeding/rocking!

We invested in a La z boy recliner rocker and have zero regrets. We use it multiple times a day, but more importantly many many nights of rocking, feeding, and cuddling. I really can’t imagine not having a comfortable chair to spend so many hours in (and often sleeping in).

My girl is 3 weeks and ours already a huge game changer. We got a recliner that rocks and it's oversized so it's very comfortable. I like to hang.out there while she naps on me.

My daughter is 21 months and I use it every single day! We read books and rock her to bed every night in it. Love it.

Absolutely yes on the nursing chair

Ok ! Unanimous yes! Haha I guess I’m getting one :)

We still use a rocking chair daily with our 2 year old, and it was ESSENTIAL in the early days bc she had reflux so one of us had to sleep upright with her on our chest. I think it’s a good investment. Marketplace is full of them for cheap as well so don’t break the bank.

@Joce if budget is an issue make sure you look on OfferUp or FB Marketplace, you can find some amazing deals for used ones sometimes, and can always hire some movers through a service like Dolly to move one piece like that for a reasonable sum if you don’t have the means to do it yourself with your family or friends/own vehicle.

FTM here, this is one of the few items are I splurged, glad to read the positive comments
