Infacol causing constipation?
Has anyone had any problems with Infacol?
Little boy is 7 weeks and we’ve been giving him it before every feed for around 4 weeks now.
The last week or so he’s been suffering badly with constipation. We thought the infacol might have been causing it so we’ve stopped giving it.
Now though it’s really hard to get him to burp/wind 😫 so the infacol must have been working before.
Also, his pooing doesn’t seem to have improved so maybe it wasn’t the infacol causing the constipation?
Anyone experienced anything like this?

Infacol gives relief but it causes constipation. We have experienced for our LO. He makes sounds/grunts and strains a lot to poop.
Same happened with my little one, however unsure whether the infacol was causing constipation or whether it was a coincidence. Stopped using the infacol but not much changed - if anything, things got worse! We are using it again adding it to his bottles, he is such a happy baby now and poops so much easier at 6 weeks! I think as his digestive system is maturing things are getting better - hopefully it’s the same for you! We also give around 2 oz water daily ❤️

My baby was really bad with constipation/trapped wind and infacol didn’t seem to help and made it worse! Plus he didn’t like the taste so would scream! I tried gripe water and it has been a life saver! I give him 1ml after every feed and he is able to pass wind so much easier x
