How do you get bottles/ breast pump dry after sterilising them?

Hello! This may be a silly question, but I am new to bottlefeeding. We have a Tommee Tippee steriliser, and after the sterilisation process the bottles are wet. Am I supposed to dry these before adding breast milk? If so, how do I do so in a sterile way? I have the same issue with my breast pump - it says all parts should be dry before assembling, but I’m not sure how to go about this. I was thinking of using kitchen roll, but then surely that defeats the object of sterilising if I am dabbing kitchen roll on it. Does anyone have any advice? Am I just being over cautious on sterilising?

It's a pain isn't it. The only thing we did was open up the steriliser as soon as it comes out of the microwave (careful of the steam) and turn everything up the other way to allow the steam to escape and bits to dry. That's the best we could do, but little bits that were left (on bottles and breast pumps) didn't seem to have any adverse effects x

I use kitchen roll to dry my pumps as I need them before the air dry (which is what you're supposed to do).. haven't found another way around it myself, so I'm following for tips too 😅

Not sure about breast pump but the bottles don’t need drying as the water is sterile.

Yep nothing just shake the wet off. Using any kinda of towel defeats the object x

I got the tommee tippee steriliser which has the drier option. It really is a pain to dry them otherwise. This steriliser and drier helps to sterilise and dry the pump parts/ bottles in 40 mins. Really makes a difference.
