How old.

How old was your little one when diagnosed. We have not been diagnosed but my husband has the gene and it has activated, so we are worried about our little one having it. I am mostly gf for safety of my husband and I have some issues myself(spastic colon; IBS)She was failure to thrive at a month old, I tried to breast feed but did not produce enough and when I was trying when I would eat gluten she would be extremely fussy(I looked it up gluten can cross over into breast milk). I told the doctor this and she said well could be a gluten problem. We have had a lot of problems finding a formula that works for us she has had mucous in or poos. We are a year old and still no rest to see if we have the gene at least I know her having the gene is likely and that it might never activate but we are barely 18lbs. Sorry if this sounds crazy. Also should I look for a different pediatrician? And those who have had it diagnosed so young how did you get your pediatrician to not just blow stuff off; that’s what it feels like to me. It took 9 months to get told we have a milk allergy and now at barely 12 months she wants us to eat dairy. (Edit to add we have down blood test for celiac and have found we are lactic intolerant. We also have been having gluten and our poop tan/yellow. Hubby said his looks like this when consuming gluten. Hopefully have answers soon.)
