EasyJet Pram overhead storage

Hi, We are going to lanzarote in a about 6 weeks with what will be my one year old (cries). I understand that with easyJet you can take a pram on board the plane, no fee. I’ve just had a look on the website and it states that the pram should not exceed 56 x 45 x 25 if you are taking it on the plane and storing in the overhead storage. Has anyone flown with easy jet, and are they really hot on the size of the pram, because I’m struggling to find one🤣🤣🤣

Is this for the cabin or hold? I’m flying with easy jet in August but looking at getting a compact pram like the silver cross clic or Joie pact xx

@Jacelyn this is to put it in the cabin! Travel prams are just so expensive trying to find one around £150.00 mark☹️

Is a cabin size pram a must? We flew with ours around a similar age and we were fine with putting it in the hold. X

We flew with easyjet last month, we bought this travel pram which is great value and we are really happy with it, but I would recommend allowing it go in the hold because then you get an extra cabin bag for baby! You are allowed to keep the pram right up until you get on the plane, and then we were given it when we got off too but otherwise you might need to wait for it on the carousel, but that was no real issue x

I just forwarded with easyjet last week to Egypt. You can get a free pram to store in the hold. They let us keep pram until boarding where they then take it and out it in the hold so no overhead storage needed. That said, I have a silver Cross clic from my firstborn, and it does fit overhead but honestly when you get a hold pram for free it's a waste of cabin allowance unless you really don't want to wait and pick up your pram from baggage claim when you get off x

@Rachel oh amazing! I was just planning on chucking her stuff in my carry on, I never thought about it like this. What pram did you get?

Also I took my double joie aire pram foe my twins and they didn't bait an eyelid at the fact it was mahoosive even folded 😂

Sorry there it is!

We have just flown with easyJet last week and we took the babyzen yo-yo with us. It folds up and fits in the overhead storage. We’ve never had to pay to take it into the cabin previously but on the way out they charged us for taking it into the cabin - apparently it’s changed and is now classed as a ‘large cabin bag’ and we hadn’t booked for one. No one asked us to pay on the way home though. It’s still free to go in the hold xx

@Rachel ah this is the one I’m thinking of getting! I randomly saw it advertised on TikTok, I think this has sold me on it!

I've seen loads of people say put the pram in hold, in a pram bag, and 'pad it out' with Nappies or other essentials 😂 just an idea! X
