Same here! I have an almost 4 year old to entertain most days (she’s still going to preschool 2x a week and due to start school in September). Though she’s very independent and everything is “no I can do it” and she’s been requesting lots of pj/lazy days so in a way she’s helping me to rest 😂 I’ve been off work for 4, nearly 5, weeks already and baby is showing no signs of arriving. I have nothing else to get ready for baby’s arrival either. I’ve even got my daughter’s school uniform all ready and labelled ready to go, so I’ve been super organised. Apart from keeping on top of cleaning and laundry I have nothing else to do or any suggestions 🙈 I’d rest up and take a walk each day to try and keep active too. Maybe find a podcast to listen to - I love the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast ☺️
I’ve been doing a few hours of gardening a day, building little things for the garden, walking my dog, napping, colouring in, lots of baths, reading when I have the concentration, movies, cleaning, baked some cakes… everything takes so much longer when pregnant 😂 especially with sit downs and naps in between
I’m not on Mat leave just yet but I was bored stiff for two weeks whilst waiting for my first to arrive. I made sure I gave the dog lots of love and attention and got everything organised and clean. I hated sitting in my bum relaxing all day but wished I’d have soaked it up a bit more once baby was here. Also a few trips to B&M etc kept me happy! 😏
