Sunken Fontanel???

Does his soft spot look like it’s sunken in? He’s been peeing regularly and eating normally..he nurses so idk how many ounces he’s getting but gaining weight..I just noticed today it looked like this and now I’m a bit worried..I’m going to call the pediatrician in the morning when they open but any advice to calm this mama down would be appreciated before I take him to the ER 😅 I never had this with my first born so this is new

@Laney yea so our AC went out and he was definitely sweating more than normal..he’s been nursing normally and I’ve tried offering more and he’s taken it once or twice..when he’s laying flat it doesn’t look nearly as sunken but I feel I can still see it

your babe could be dehydrated mamas. just continue to feed him, till you're able to get him into see his ped. with how hot it has been (I obviously don't know where you live) but where I live it's like we've been set on fire.

He will be fine!! Just keep feeding him and go to the pediatrician to have a look. If he doesn’t have fever, he isn’t lethargic and he has enough pee, I don’t think you have to go to ER. Keep us posted 😘

@Tau yeah we are down in Atlanta GA so it’s hot and humid 🥵🥵🥵 our AC has been acting funny too so we have another tech coming today

@Vanessa @Tau he’s good, he’s not dehydrated and his doc said he looks perfect..I’m assuming I was overreacting 😅 but better to overreact and be told it’s nothing than to under react
