First time abroad with a 1 year old

Hi, I've been abroad with my little one twice and took loads ha. Does she have milk/bottles? If so will need to think about taking those plus something to sterilise. I took my full electric steriliser but I know some take the tablets. Travel buggy? I took my own cot sheets so they were familiar to her and also some toys, books and soft toys that she's familiar with for in the room whilst you're getting ready. I used the travel cot as a bit of a play pen at times and she was quite happy. Does she have favourite snacks that you might want to take, just incase she's not keen on all the food there. We bought a tent for the beach but was a waste of time, she wanted to explore. When you're there just a bucket and spade/water toys should be enough to keep her occupied in the daytime. Thankyou, she's breastfed so not bottle worries and luckily will try most foods ❤️ how did you find sleeping at night? We co sleep and she's already like a furnace! How did you manage on the Flight and like evening entertainment etc xx

Sleep wasn't an issue. We had a travel cot in the room and I think we used to have the air con on to begin with and then turn it off. We didn't use any covers for her. She was so tired from the day. She did nap during the day but shorter than at home so was then tired at night time. We'd get ready for dinner and go down around 6pm, give baby hers some nights we would eat with her. Then off to the disco and evening entertainment, we only stayed for the tots part so not late . We'd then get her ready for bed at the baby change, she would have been bathed earlier so just wiping away food from her face really, no mess after such a short time. Then we'd push her to sleep in her pram. The nights we hadn't eaten we would then eat but sat in a quiet spot and then back upto the room. No late nights 🤣 was fine though and kept her in a good routine. For the plane I also took a busy book, fidget stuff, new books (she loves books) and snacks. She slept the way there, the way back I let her run around a little haha x
