The gp said it’s normal Aparently. And no other symptoms
As he’s breastfed he could just be getting too much fore milk and not enough hind milk. It’s perfectly normal, it’s happened to my little boy at times too
Yeah I’ve read that as well but not sure how to change it or if it’s bad for baby @Jess
Baby’s poo is dark green it might be my diet idk I eat a lot of dark leafy greens?
For the hind milk - make sure baby is emptying your breast during feeds before switching them over to the other breast. It’s not bad per se, just means they’re not getting as much of the fatty milk. Ah yes, if you’ve been eating a lot of leafy greens that will absolutely have an impact on baby’s poo colour so could absolutely be that!
@Jess im not breastfeeding im giving him expressed milk but i always make sure to pump for long so that all milk is out my breast and do breast massage too😫😫
Ah I’m sorry I didn’t realise! If you’re pumping it’s definitely because of the leafy greens you’ve been eating. Nothing to worry about lovely! You’ll find their poop changes all different colours when they begin eating themselves too!
Are there any other symptoms? Could be a number of things. You’ll probably find that the gp will say it baby generally seems content and ok then it’s nothing to worry about. Xx
