Unfortunately this is very common, especially if you are the first of your friend group to have kids, or if you have kids way after your friend group did. Most people don’t want to share in the joys of your pregnancy with you. Coming on this app will definitely help, because even if you don’t meet up, you can have some conversations that align with where you are in life.
I lost my friend because I got pregnant. She just stopped talking, started lying about why she can’t hangout. I feel like a burden to everyone, I’m eating for two, and I can’t do nearly as much as I used too. Everyone says oh I’m here if you need me because it’s something people say but don’t mean
@Becca literally the same with me always an excuse as to why can’t hang out. I stopped reaching out and we stopped talking 😕
@Cassandra yea once the lying started about why we can’t hangout is when I had enough. Like I don’t care if you go on a weekend bender that’s your deal, just don’t feel like you have to lie..the baby isn’t even here yet 😅
Yes it's hard especially when your friends are in different phases in life/have no kids/single/etc. Always here to talk !
I'm so sorry to here that. My best friend has been absolutely amazing. She is so excited to be auntie
