Shop in real life trying things on so you know what fits nice/looks gd/is your size then look for the same items second hand. Get your hair cut by student hairdressers so you feel good about helping someone out at the same time. Donate money to charity
@Emily i dont have time to shop really and i get bored that’s why i try more online in my own time and i do click and collect so usually i would collect it, try on there and then return if anything but its effort. I done lots to charity and sell a lot too and shop at the charity shops. I do try buy and shop local and small business. I plan on doing that for Xmas and birthdays this year being from charity and vinted but when it comes to myself I can never just treat myself without feeling guilty x
To me, this isnt a money thing, this is an issue with you showing up for yourself and giving yourself the things you deserve. Treat yourself to a spa day get your hair done make it a regular occurrence maybe even try going into the gym, once you feel better about yourself, you’ll have an idea about what kind of clothes etc make you comfortable and happy. Therapy is an also a shout… invest in yourself and hopefully things will start to fall into place for you x
I’m exactly the same, I mean I don’t have spare cash really but all my money goes on my kids. Why don’t you withdraw some cash, say £200 and go out for the day and aim to have it spent before you come home. It has to be spent on you, you’ve earned the money and everyone else has everything they need! Time to treat yourself you deserve it!
@Josie yes my kids always have what they need and more, clothes, toys, food, days out, soft plays. I just couldn’t spend £200 on myself. I did buy a £1.50 jumper on vinted 🙈🤣🤣🤣 it’s awful because I know I could but can’t bring myself too as I’m so used to hunting a bargain x
Just go and do shopping, do your hair, you living only once
