I'm feeling a bit like this too! I'm not sure until end of September but feels like most people I've spoke to have either recently had their babies or still working as a while off yet! I had to take mat leave early as work was killing me and now I have no idea what to do and keep spending money to kill boredom 😂
I started my leave on Tuesday (38 weeks) and have been giving myself a couple of tasks and an outing everyday with rest and tv time inbetween. So today looks like this, Walk toddler to nursery Breakfast and TV for an hour Assemble crib Walk with friend at lunch Nap Paint coffee table TV Pick daughter up from nursery Dinner with friends Yesterday, I chilled a lot and did some batch cooking for the freezer. Day before I went to an RHS garden for a potter and did a food shop. I’ve started a new series on tv so I’m just doing little bits and bobs around resting.
Yeah @kelly I’ve had a long mat leave too due to a physical job, I had bounce a bit earlier than expected because the Dr said if I didn’t he’s put me on bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy! So maybe that’s why the cabin fever has kicked in. @Annabel 😂 this is so funny as I live near a RHS and I just go and sit on my blanket. Such a good membership card to have. I’ve also got a national trust one too, which will be great for pushing the pram about I’m hoping.
Are you crafty at all? I bought a diamond art picture from Amazon that I can sit and do to pass a couple of hours at a time, I bought a picture that can hopefully go up in bubbas nursery when I’m done ☺️
Also to add I think people are avoiding me as they don’t want to annoy me by asking if the babies here yet? So it’s a viscous circle 😆😂
