@Ellie I used to clean it everyday and I never used to see residue, so I assumed the depth of that cleaning wonāt be necessary after every use, and I experimented doing it once a week, and it was much more effective. I think when youāre making bottles back to back, taking that part off and putting it back on can get fiddly, especially when youāve got a screaming baby waiting for milk! But go on you!
Can the top bit go in water? I had assumed it couldnāt cos of the electric (or whatever makes it light up), so great if Iām wrong.
@Hollie So youād wash it with warm soapy water, and then you can pop it into cold water with a Milton tablet, or the UV sterilising nuby case. So you can leave it in the water, nothing will happen to it! āŗļø
I have the Tommee Tippee one of these though I don't put the made up bottle in mine I measure the water out then put the water straight into this and put the formula into the baby bottle, then add the water once it's the temp.
@Stacey-Leigh often thatās not too safe, because the reason youāre mixing the hot water with the formula is to kill the bacteria in the formula. So when you cool down the water, itās no longer at boiling temperature and therefore doesnāt kill the bacteria.
Thanks. I hadnāt realised it could go in water. Was just wiping it really carefully. Cheers
Hey I have this and was wondering if the middle part of the lid came out, how do you take it off? x
The instructions on mine say the lid can only stay in the milton for 15 minutes š¤
@Hollie it needs sterilising after every use
@Kelly you just pull it off, itās a rubber plastic ring so itās quite easy for you to pull away from the actual lid, it can get fiddly if your hands are wet
@Lauryn mine stays in for hours and nothing happens
Incognito, I never thought of this š«£

Am I the only one who takes it off and cleans it after each use?
