Baby brezza-“right setting” making diluted formula

@luu🤎Were you using the right setting but the baby brezza was dispensing the wrong amount of formula?
I just found that out too
yep. we weighed the amount of formula with a normal scoop and then amount that got dispensed by machine. it was almost 2g less than what she should have gotten in total. she was having trouble gaining weight and i didn’t understand why. our pediatrician told us to check it bc she just had 2 other babies in the office dealing w the same thing. i threw it away because i didn’t feel comfortable even donating it to someone else.

@luu🤎 omg I feel so upset, at first the baby brezza made my life simpler but now I hate it. What we did was to change the setting to one that dispenses the same weight as one scoop but definitely in gonna keep testing it almost every day just to make sure is dispensing the right amount
I learned that formula will build up under the dispenser. So even if you clean the black funnel looking pieces you still gave to de gunk right above it where that orange piece sits. I haven’t had any issues yet but now your making me want to weigh mine too🤣 only time my formula is diluted is when it gets too low
we ended up getting the water dispenser thing that heats the water and then added the formula manually.
this happened to me with my first when i started formula feeding. don’t beat yourself up
