2 years but there were other factors involved slowing our TTC journey. Plus I think it depends on the birth control method

I was using a non hormonal birth control and was tracking ovulation. I got off of the pill for like 6 months already. But I tracked when I am ovulating, and that’s how I got pregnant in a month!

1 year 6 months. I was on the pill since age 16 due to PCOS. I tried everything and felt emptional and broken. I cut out coffee and alcohol, took pre conception vitamins, did accupuncture, castor oil packs, yoga, changed my diet, and exercise. I went fertility tests, scans, and HSG and told they me everything was normal. Continued to do ovulation testing. Turns out what I really needed was a holiday in Tunisia, which was all-inclusive and to let go and have a drink and coffee when I wanted and sun bathed lots. The moral of the story, do not be too hard on yourself if you are doing everything, although it is easier said than done. I used clue to help track everything, which really helped me as they have a few modes from normal periods tracking to ovulation tracking for when you are ttc

As soon as I got off of it I was pregnant within 2 months, I had the arm implant

Took 6 months with my 2nd after coming off the pill. With my 3rd I wasn't using hormonal contraception and I kept an eye on my body's signs of ovulation, pregnant within 3 months!

@Nyla so you pretty much just relaxed, which in my experience is key!

@Rebecca yup, and it happens naturally. Hubby never doubted it, but I had so much guilt about being on the pill for so long and recalling what the endocrinologist said to me on discharge at age 16. I let it consume me a little. Lol 😆 you live, and you learn

10 months
