The nerve of this man

Tell me why my partner invites his sister to come see our baby during his nap, when he’s been so colic that it takes a lot of effort to put him down. I just got off my phone appointment with my therapist and have yet to get dressed. I’m recovering from a cold and on my heaviest day of my period! The bathroom is a mess, I’ve been trying to clean it for days now but can’t because our 6 week old is colic. She wanted to come over yesterday, but I was wasn’t feeling well. I told him that today isn’t a good day either. He tells me he already called her and that she’s on her way! Then we hear a loud ass knock at the door and it’s her! I run to the room bc I’m not dressed yet and tell him to tell her to come back when he’s not sleeping. He says they’re going to leave to get lunch and when they come back he should be up from his nap. Like wtf!! I’m fuming 😡 this man doesn’t have common sense

He’s very annoying. I’d tell them to wait quietly in the living room and converse while the baby sleeps when they’re back from lunch. The baby will not be woken up. Hopefully she is better than he is and gets it and quietly agrees. Sometimes the men are worse than women. The baby deserves respect and to not have their sleep disturbed either.

I felt this, once my mom showed up unannounced to see my newborn and I told her it’s his nap time she said “I want to wake him up” I was like hell no my son needs to nap

They got back 5 minutes ago and she brought her husband and son. He begged me to wake him up and I caved and they’re in the living room with him while I’m in the bathroom cleaning it. I feel like bitch now bc I’m not out there saying hi, but I feel so gross. I haven’t showered in two days. I’m just really sad and disappointed in him.

It’s takes the men a lot longer to adjust to newborn lifestyles and a lot of talks I keep reminding my fiancé to do certain things with the baby but they grow so fast it’s hard to keep up. See if someone will watch your baby just long enough to get a shower and something to eat. It’s important to take care of yourself as well even if it’s hard just a couple minutes a day is better than nothing

Story of my fucking life with my husband. This is quite literally the most obnoxious shit ever. It’s always at the worst times, how are they so unaware and out of touch??? Gahhhhd! I feel your pain. I had to get mean about it lol
