5 months until I fell pregnant which sadly was ectopic. Another 6 months after that before I was pregnant again. I was on the pill from 16 to 31 so a long time!
I stopped taking it in July 2022, but we were using spermicide for the first two months after I stopped taking it. The first time we had sex without spermicide we conceived. Then once the baby was born, I pumped for a year. I got my first period 8 months postpartum and got pregnant (using the pullout method) the following month. That pregnancy only made it to 5 weeks though. After that my cycles have been wonky but we are starting to try again now. *Edit to add that I was on the pill from 2008 through 2022, so 14 years.

3 months for me on the dot!
The first month!
Both babies, fell pregnant the month I stopped taking the pill. Never got my period back xx
@Calandria out of interest how does spermicide work? 5 years which resulted in a miscarriage then another year after 8 years on it (a lot of other stuff going on fertility wise though)
@Natalie we used the film contraceptive. It’s just a little film that you insert a few minutes before sex. My husband calls them “listerine breath strips” cuz it’s basically the same concept lol. It dissolves on contact with water.
@Calandria i love his nickname for it. Might have a look into that.
5 months, had been on pill for around 15 years on and off
@Natalie they worked well enough, my only complaint is they make everything a little… stickier… lol
@Calandria we are using condoms at the moment so have been thinking about alternatives
Less than a week 🙈

With my first, it took about 6 months for my hormones to level out and for me to learn my natural cycle after having been on hormonal birth control for over 10 years. With my second, it took about 3 months after getting my IUD removed
3 months, I'd been on the pill for at least 8 years at that point, took my last one last day of January and found out I was pregnant 4th of June, I'd fell pregnant in the May x
