100% down to whether the sperm that gets to the egg contains an X or a Y chromosome. Only way to guarantee that would be in a lab and against current ethic laws. Anything else is pure luck / coincidence! I worked in genetics research for 10 years x
@Tali there's the scientific words I was looking for haha
@Stephanie haha you’re all good, it’s still in my brain, just about!
I honestly think it’s just down to whichever gets there first and already written in the stars, as I know people who’ve conceived girls on ovulation day. 🫶🏻 My first was a boy, we think we conceived him 3/4 days before ovulation day… as we didn’t manage to get in another try before I ovulated that cycle. I’m currently pregnant with my second, and we did have sex more this time round to conceive: Day 4, Day 7, Day 9, Day 12 (which was my ovulation day!) and Day 14 for good luck 🤣. Now I know my due date, the apps changed to say baby was “conceived” on the day that would’ve been “Day 9”, 3 days before I ovulated again. And from my 12 week scan, everyone is saying it’s a girl… but they pretty much were conceived a similar amount of days before I ovulated. So no idea! 🥴 But good luck and I do hope you see that positive line soon 😘 xxx
I have not but I've heard of it and I think it works for people by coincidence. Whole heartedly it comes down the man lol. My father has a lot of girls in his family and he had 4 girls, I think that's how it works lol.
