Since having my daughter last January, we have been living on one income. With that being said our budget is tight for Christmas this year. How do we feel about gifting used toys and books? Obviously I’d make sure they were in very good if not perfect condition and I’d pair them with a new outfit.

Not at all, We all want to make sure our kids have a wonderful Christmas. I see you have a little one as well she wouldn't know the difference from new to old. I don't see anything wrong in doing that .
We're doing that this year, my daughter is 2 though so she doesn't know the difference

Oh heck yes!! We’ve done that especially with larger toys like ride on or yard toys. We’re moving and I plan on hitting up fb marketplace for stuff we had to leave behind.
