It depends on your goals I guess. We wanted to buy a house so we needed good credit, now we plan on moving home again in the next few years so again, good credit is really important. Also I couldn’t mentally stand the thought of being in debt, I understand I’m fortunate though that I never have been as it’s out of peoples control sometimes.
I care to a point. We can usually keep up with our debts but sometimes medical bills get overwhelming. But I've noticed my credit goes up and down kind of randomly so I don't obsess over it.
I don’t have credit 🤷🏼♀️
My partner got a new job and we are able to now focus on our credit but it’s a very minimal start. Like I have “no credit” because everything that was ever on my credit is literally 4+ years old. So I applied for a capital one secured credit card and got approved but I have to put down a $99 deposit before I have access to the $200 credit limit. I’ll have to DoorDash more to make extra income enough to start that but hey, it’s a start 🤷♀️😂
I care about mine only because my husband’s credit history is basically nonexistent and we really don’t want to rent forever lol
