Not falling pregnant after MC in March

When we started our TTC journey last year, we got pregnant relatively quickly. Although in both situations they led to a MC. Both took roughly one to three cycles, and now it's already five cycles and we're still not falling pregnant. :( As the time goes by, it gets even more difficult to keep hopeful and the disappointment and self-blame gets heavier. Looking for some encouragement or people in a similar situation.

This happened to me. Chemical in April 23. Fell pregnant again in May, miscarried in June. My doctor had me take a break to do testing so didn’t start trying again until September or October. Had another Chemical in March. I ended up getting pregnant in August right before I was going to have to have a next steps appointment with my doctor. I’m currently 12 weeks and so far so good. Hoping it continues being good! The TTC journey is so hard and can unfortunately be so long. I have read it can take a healthy couple 6-9 months to convince. It’s hard keeping that hope though when you see so many people that seem to get pregnant quick. Wishing you the best as you continue this journey, and I hope you get your rainbow baby soon 🤞🏻💕

It took me 18 months to fall pregnant the first time and I had a mmc. The next time took 7 months and was a chemical. Then only 3 months later I fell pregnant again and I’m now 33+3 with a healthy baby girl. Your time will come chick 🥰

Thanks @Ali ! Yes it's been a mental struggle, time seems to crawl by at a slower rate as more time goes by. @Sarah thanks for sharing. Mine was similar to yours in that I first had a MMC/blighted ovum, then a chemical. Your time to conceive seems to get shorter each round which is great! Did you do anything differently? I made some changes which I thought would help but I'm not so sure if they did, since it's taking longer compared to my first 2. I'm not sure if it's all random chances and a toss of a coin anyway if it happens or not.

We took lots of different vitamins, baby danced lots around the right time (using ovulation strips) and cut alcohol out. Don’t know if any of that helped but I fell pregnant quickly this time so worth a go!

Hey, i would like to share my story with you. I fell pregnant first time in August 2023, but miscarried at 7 weeks in September, a week after my birthday & baby cousin being born. We spent months trying with nothing and my mental health was so low. I had some counselling which really helped change my mind set on things. We got a puppy in Jab/Feb 24 which was crazy but just what we needed. I fell pregnant in July 24, currently 14 weeks. I had some bleeding in September, 1 year 1 week to the day of finding out i was misscarring which was really tough, but after an early scan we got to see baby, everything was fine and I've had no more bleeding. I'm really sorry to hear about your journey. Just keep hopeful, I know it's really difficult, but find things you like & that make you happy, something to focus on. Be kind to yourself ❤️
