Christmas?

What's everyone getting their babies for Christmas? My son's birthday is also the 26th he'll be a year old, and so far he's not really shown a lot of interest in toys right now he's only interested in household items and the odd things I have in our house. I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff that he's only going to play with for a little while. Especially since I have to get him Christmas and birthday. I've made some stuff and plan to give him stuff I already have and thrift some gifts. Is that weird?

Not weird. Don’t waste money on things your son isn’t interested in. I can’t buy my daughter anything in advance bc I say she needs it now! I think I’m sticking to trips and experiences as gifts.

Following because I need ideas as well! The only thing I have came up with is a balance bike, because I know all the kids in my family still use theirs and love them to this day and 2 of my nieces that use them are 3

Following 🥰 my daughter will be 1 also on December 26th. I am flying my parents to celebrate all together and I am asking friends and family to buy clothes and/or to contribute towards her account. If we get toys for her it’s only little cheap things

@Rosemary McMurray I got some fits from shein for her but I am not too sure of safety and materials. I got some Montessori toys that were fairly cheap on amazon

@Francesca my daughter loves them. I’m limited on funds since I’m a sahm so I have a budget.

@Rosemary McMurray be careful to buy toys from SHEIN or Temu, turned out they have lead in paint. Unfortunately I learned it too late, when baby was tested for lead and it same back high
