Norethisterone for inducing a period

Has anyone taking norethisterone to induce a period before starting fertility treatments? Did it work? I've taken it for 5 days and now waiting for my period. This is the second day and still nothing. I'm worried it won't work and then I won't be able to try to conceive 😔

I had to take it for 14 days then once I stopped I had a bleed around 4 - 5 days afterwards

Omg 14 days?! That's so long. Everywhere I read it says it should come after the 5 days and the doctor only prescribed me 5 days. I'm just worried that because my body is so used to not having one it just won't come 😏

Hello :) Interested as to if it showed up for you and how long it took? I finished my 5 days yesterday and am wondering how long it will take to bring on a bleed x

I finished taking it on the 20th and my period came on the 24th, like half way through the day. I then took letrazole and now waiting to see if I ovulate! On cd14 and nothing yet 😬

Oh amazing! Fingers crossed for you :) I’ll be trying letrozole too once it arrives so let me know how you get on. I’ve heard good things!!

Oh and also I’ve heard of lots of people ovulating on days 16-20 so don’t lose hope! :)
