NT 4.1mm

Hiya ladies, new to this group. I had my 12 week scan on Tuesday this week. Had my NT measured it came back as 4.1mm with a very wriggly baby. I had bloods taken also as a combined screening. Got my results today and it's come back high risk. 1 in 8 for DS. I thought that was high but the community midwife told me the percentage as 87.5% in our favour and 12.5% not in our favour. Got to go to fetal medical unit Leeds on Tuesday 29th. Also got the NIPT blood test on Sunday. Are there any positive stories out there. Can't stop worrying. Took 3 years to get pregnant with this baby after a loss. Need some positivity right now. TIA xxx

Yes I had this twice. My firstborn had a measurement of 4.6mm and my second had a measurement of 4.7mm. Had a CVS both times and they both came back with normal results. My son is 17 months and smashing all his milestones, perfectly healthy. I’m a week overdue with my daughter and no further complications. I also know my mother in law had the exact same with her daughter, and my friend had the same, and both times no diagnosis was found. Just unexplained extra fluid! Only 10% of NT results come back with a chromosomal abnormality. I know how scary it is but I really wouldn’t stress now knowing what I know 💗

Im in the same boat 1:35 for DS got my amnio on Monday next week. Been so so worried. Please message me xx

@Becca hiya sweet. Did you have the NIPT test with any of your two babies? I've had my high NT measurement and my combined screening blood test come back high risk 1 in 8 for DS and my NIPT result was high risk. Had my amnio yesterday awaiting results. I'm so nervous. Xxx
