Who’s on birth control?

I'm on nexplanon I haven't had any bad side effects or weight issues. I had it put in 6 weeks post partum.

This is the first time I’ve ever been on birth control other than getting one shot of depo (gave me super severe reactions to where I was almost hospitalized). I am on the patch now. I am 27 and my December baby was my 2nd child

I’m on depo and am having severe side effects. I’ve had extreme weight gain as well as chronic migraines. I would rather not be on any birth control.

I was on the pill for a few months after birth, but after a while I started to feel like a teenager again lol so I stopped it.

I have the mirena hormonal IUD. It was recommended by my Obgyn as the best option with my PCOS. It has been WONDERFUL. Because it’s not a pill going through my body, it doesn’t mess with my overall hormones. The hormones released from it are localized to my nether regions. After about 2 months of spotting some after the insertion, I have been period free going on 8 months now so no more excruciatingly painful periods and my typical bloating has reduced drastically.
