How do you feed your baby? How do you know how much formula / water to put in?

FTM and I see videos like (measurements not accurate) but something like 5 scoops of forumula and leave 40ml boiled water in the bottle put the rest in the nuby? Like HOW do we know all of this… panic station over here

Look at the instructions on your formula tin. Look at her age, Pour water to the ml stated and add the scoops of formula stated. That’s it.

It’s normally 30ml/1oz of water per scoop on formula. I pour the water into feeding bottle first, add formula into Nuby then add measured water.

@Karolina same. If I add the water first everything just sticks because of the steam and it drives me mad!

@Lauryn isn’t it annoying 😂

What your describing is the hot shot method which is what I do. My little boy has 7oz bottles so I measure 7oz into his bottle, pour 5oz into the nuby and then add the powder to the 2oz in the bottle, mix it and then add the cooled water to it. I also use the little pots so that I measure all the powder beforehand and then just grab the little pot of formula and add it to the milk rather than scooping it into the hot water as it all gets stuck to the scoop

@Karolina are you in a different country? What about OP? Here in the US, it’s usually 1 scoop per 2oz water. Which didn’t make sense because you could never make odd number ounces. The scooper now has a half scoop line though. So 1/2 scoop per ounce works too
