Irregular gestational sac
I am 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Had an internal scan done this morning as I’ve been having quite a lot of pain. Anyway, the sonographer said the gestational sac is irregular and showed me (the edges look all bumpy) and there is no yolk sac which I was told by the sonographer that she would expect to see one by now, though the nurse practitioner said it can be 6 weeks when it is visible.
Does anyone have any experience with this and had a positive outcome as they’re saying they have seen it at times “right itself”. Thanks in advance. X

Thanks Susan, this is helpful. No matter what, at this point I won’t be having any interventions whatever happens, unless obviously things end up life threatening. Xxxxxxx

I had a doctor tell me that my pregnancy wasn't viable or progressing. He pushed for me to have a dnc to remove the pregnancy. I told him no, that i had miscarriages before, and my body would expell it on its own. Well, I never lost that pregnancy. I ended up having a beautiful little girl. That doctor was wrong. They aren't always right.
