Do y’all still wash your LOs brand new clothes before using?

At what point do you stop washing brand new clothes for your kids? Or is that just supposed to be a forever thing? 🙃 LOL I been washing all brand new clothes for my 18 month old since she’s been born, but I just went on a major shopping spree for her and I reallyyy don’t feel like washing all these clothes so a part of me is like “ehhh she’ll be fine right?” but another part of me feels like I’m doing something wrong if I don’t? Lol

I wash all new clothing for everyone in my household - the dyes in new clothes leach so much I don't like it

It's really a personal preference. I prefer to wash all clothes before I wear them let alone my daughter. Especially if it's been in a store and Lord knows who has touched it. I also don't like the feel of most clothing or the smell when it's straight from the store or wherever it was shipped from. I like it to be softer after a wash and dry and smell like my detergent.

I wash all new clothes even for myself.

My son is 2 and I still wash before wearing. Except today he insisted on wearing brand new pajamas, yes as clothes. I didn’t want the fight, so he wore them unwashed. He also has eczema so I try to reduce any irritations.

It shouldn’t be a personal preference, all new clothes should be washed 😳 do you know where its been and how many hands have touched it by the time it got to you 😳 Ive got super sensitive skin and cannot imagine not washing something before wearing it, yes, even socks 🙈 If in doubt google and see what it says 😰
