@Laura 🍉🇵🇸✊🏻 I've been making a coffee scrub and making my own candles recently, been debating about gifting those too!
I’ve done homemade baking mixes, basically just do all the dry ingredients for a recipe in a large jar and then include a recipe card and note what ingredients need to be added by the person getting it. I love doing something like that especially for families as like a family baking night. I’ve also made hot chocolate mix from scratch.
@Jenna I love homemade gifts! I think they show a lot of care and love. Body scrubs are great! I get requests for them now 🤣 Definitely do candles and scrubs!
I am a BIG fan of receiving edible gifts personally! 🙂
We love doing homemade gifts! And people seem to love getting them. We've done fudge before but we've also done ornaments and coasters.
Sounds yummy 😋
Homemade Food is always welcome!!!!
Homemade gifts are the best presents especially as an adult
Love this. Not everyone is a chef and would many would appreciate that gift
I've done baked goods as part of a gift for years. I will say it's always costed more then just buying small presents. But it's also extremely well received
it depends on who you’re gifting it to, i make homemade jam, sauces, bread, and cakes for my neighbors but not for my friends because my friends prefer to eat out most of the time so my food gifts just get thrown away lol
I love the energy in this comment section! I wish I knew how to make stuff!
Homemade stuff is way better. Not only is it special and thoughtful, it is usually better quality (even if it doesn’t look as packaged)
We are making picture and hand print coasters for our family members!

It depends who you are gifting to. Might be worth making people aware that you’re not spending as much on Xmas gifts this year especially if they are the type to spend a lot.
We do loads of home made things as gifts! It’s something fun to do with the kids, and when we tell people we’ve made them they’re always super impressed! A few examples of things we’ve made in recent years are: - jars of home made pickles and chutneys - home made hot chocolate stirrers with marshmallows on top which we gifted with a giant mug - home smoked salmon in a little open hamper with some blinis and dill cream - home made Christmas cake, which our kids iced and decorated I just think they’re such a lovely thing to do and the things you’ve posted sound so nice, I’d be thrilled to receive them as a gift!
We get these a lot from parents at the daycare I work at, me and the girls always love it!!!
Thank you all for your wonderful comments! I think you've decided it for me! 💙 as stated in the post, I'd do some kind of fudge, candied pecans, and caramel popcorn. Do you all have other suggestions that you've done or received that were a big hit? I'd need to start practicing new recipies now so that I can perfect it before Christmas!
@Jenna all of those are excellent options!! I’d be super happy to receive each of those! My favorite to make for people is cranberry nut bread. But I really like your ideas!
Those are the best gifts!! Opposed to something cheap that a person holds onto out of guilt despite wanting it, there is nothing wasted with that deliciousness
I think that's wonderful!! I do homemade gifts too. Soaps, body scrub, granola, spiced nuts, etc...
