How big are the drawers? Maybe a cute little pair of Christmassy socks and/or gloves if they’ll fit? Or a small book? It’s quite tricky because at that age you wouldn’t want them necessarily to have lots of little things that could be a choking risk!
I was just thinking this about the choking risk. You could put some baby friendly treats in a couple of the drawers xx
Boy or girl? Hairbows? Chocolate coin? Matchbox car?
You could write notes with activities on them. Then each day do the activity and take a picture so you have the fun each day and then the photos for them to look back on. Activities can be really simple like chocolate milk or walking to look at street lights. I like to plan for things id normally do anyway so it’s easy but also makes the routine things feel a bit more special.
We have an advent calendar with pockets. We bought a wooden nativity scene, and put the characters in some of the pockets so we slowly build it up throughout December. We do that along with a note with an activity on (could be as simple as a Christmas craft, going for a walk to see houses lit up locally, Christmas bath (we did glow sticks with the lights off listening to Christmas music 😅), watching a Christmas film, making mince pies and Christmas biscuits, doing a light trail, Christmas markets etc). If it’s a holiday physical activity, I put things like the crayons, cookie cutter etc in the pockets to make looking in the calendar a bit more exciting 😅
@V love this!! Great ideas
