Christmas

What is everyone buying for Christmas this year please? We’ve got her a tonies box for her main present but really struggling with else to get. We have a budget of around £150-£200 this year and have already spent £80 on the Tonies box and a tony. What do your little ones get loads of use out of? Really want to get toys that will be played with all the time. Thank you!☺️

We are buying the Melissa and Doug vending machine, a balance bike and the balance beam set from Smyths toys. (Doing it all through cashback deals to save money) She is also getting little stocking fillers for things to do - like stuff from Inspire My Play - tweezers, pipettes, imaginary play sets. It sounds a lot I know but soon it’s Black Friday and there’s so many deals on that it will all come in under £200 with the cashaback and savings. You’ve just got to shop savvy xx

We've bought magnetic tiles and play mobil as 'bigger' gifts. We got the magnetic tiles on a prime day deal so I'm sure they will be on a black Friday deal. I got plat mobil during the argos toy sale for half price, but my mums got him a great set off Ebay for £15! It's easily cleaned and kids don't care about a box! X

@Laura amazing, thank you! We used vouchers and got boots points back for the tonies box, definitely need to be savvy!

@Emma thank you! I’ve been looking for play Mobil actually so I think it’s worth a look on Black Friday! I’ve been in charity shops/ eBay / FB market place too.. they don’t know they’re not new & will still love them all the same.

Her main present is a play kitchen that I got on offer from John Lewis plus had a £10 off reward voucher, so it was just over £100. She will have other little presents (probably saucepans/some pretend food etc) as well as stocking fillers I have looked at giant chalk for the garden/new bath toys/a snap game. However I will be looking on Black Friday to see what deal there are - but that’s for all my presents 🤣

I got my girl some of the Lidl wooden toys. Like the puzzles and games for little bits to open Her main present from me is going to be her big girl bed. From family though I’ve asked for the balance beam and stepping rocks from smyths. More bath toys/colouring bits and playdoh My mum has got her a dolls house with the Lidl wooden family and furniture sets.

we are trying to avoid toys and especially any similar ones that he already has as he has so many-most second hand and from vinted. We are not really sure,so need inspiration!

So for the stocking I have got my son some more puzzles, story books, colouring book & stickers. He is mad on hot wheels cars so he has 4 of those and I got a paint your own money box, he loves painting so I thought that was perfect. I also got him pop up pirate as I always had a game in my stocking as a child 🙂 Then for his main present we are getting him a train set.

Thank you all! This has given me lots of ideas! I’d not even seen the balance beam but it looks really good! Sounds like it could be popular this year though 😂

We're are also getting a Tonies box, but family are getting her a new scooter, pushchair/ pram for her 'baby' & duplo
