I’ve gotten pregnant twice while breastfeeding so I don’t think that would be an issue. Are you using ovulation strips? I found the Premom app with their ovulation strips to be helpful. Maybe check for cysts, polys and fibroids to rule that out. Maybe get a blood test to check for hormone levels and all those things. Only other thing would be a test for sperm quantity and quality.
I struggled to get pregnant took me a year. I bought ovulation strips in bulk as well as pregnancy test. The truth is it’ll happen when you stop stressing. It wasn’t until my husband and I decided to stop trying and let it happen naturally that it happened. In the meantime taking prenatal ton prepare your body eating right and exercising is great. Relax and allow your body to do the rest.
Worried about fertility. My days between periods (last day of last period to first day of next period is 18-19 days) are short. My ovulation happens and my luteal phase is about 8-9 days long, also short. I'm also breastfeeding but like once to twice a day. Been trying to get pregnant and have been unsuccessful. Do you think I need to worry or have any of you experienced similar cycles while breastfeeding a toddler (not a newborn--i know the hormones are different then). Before anyone says it, I just visited the doctor yesterday but I want thoughts of real women who may have experienced the same thing.
