No shade or judgment: will you be participating in Black Friday this year?

I never do. Baby, by 8pm I’m exhausted and cold outside. and I absolutely hate shopping—it’s stressful and I move extremely slow because I can never make up my mind. After one store, it’s time for a snack at the food court then it’s time to go home

Maybe online lol

Yes , I always go. Me, My mom and Grandma have gone since I was very young lol we get everyone’s gifts for Christmas tho. Split up when we are getting eachothers. We also nap and prepare beforehand

I've never physically participated in black Friday. Sometimes, I've done the online sales or the cyber Monday, though. But I generally avoid shopping for gifts once November hits because they always raise the prices and then discount them for the sales

I wish I could I went on my own with my friends once and it was fun I love window shopping so I would go just to look if I could but my man is the ‘in and out grab what we need and go’ and our cars brakes are shit🤷‍♀️ I hope y’all who go have fun

I prefer cyber Monday. Stay warm at home in my pajamas and do some online shopping lol

Online shopping maybe. I haven’t been to in store black Friday in years lol

I went once as a teenager. My pregnant sister almost got trampled, I got slammed into a wall, and in the end we managed to get out with 1 item we got for a decently discounted price. Not worth it

Before kid yes hubby an I did on the day of or next day, as where I live they used to do black Friday on Thanksgiving but past few yrs it only on Fri or the weekends After baby we still do after an the weekend we usually do what we can afford/online as well

Black Friday doesn’t have the same feel as it does when I was younger. The sales don’t seem that great either. If I do buy anything it’s going to be from online.

Nope. No way I’m gona wait outside in the cold n wat not. I’ll do cyber Monday or pay full price.

Depends on rather or not i need electronics. Which this year i do so yes. But I wait for cyber Monday for cloth etc and Presidents’ Day/ Labor Day for furniture

Online usually just if we ever need anything that’s too expensive to get any other time

In the Uk some places have started already. Theres a few things I’m holding out for to see if the prices lower but it’s mostly online.

No. We never do.

I do cyber Monday.

No because it all starts at like lunchtime on Thanksgiving Day and I haven't even had my turkey yet. It's ridiculous

Black Friday deals have been starting early. And there’s nothing I need that bad to fight those crowds. When I was younger I’d go walk around the mall and grab a few things. But, I don’t enjoy that any more and the mall is such a long drive since we’ve moved. I’ve already started shopping and besides my kids and husband everyone is getting gift cards. I’m about to have baby #2 and don’t want to be stressed with shopping this year.

@Jade you sound like a pro! It’s not really a big thing over here, more just online. Curious what’s the best deal you’ve gotten?

@Sorrel i got my husband’s macbook pro for Christmas for around 550 brand new! They have a lot of coupons for “early birds” they used to be but now if you go in at all you can get like 25% or a 200$ off 700 which was how I got the macbook bc it was already on sale and you can use two coupons at some stores so it brought it down

@Jade wow that is a good discount! I think I’m going to try to look for a washing machine but I feel like I never know if they just inflate the price and make it seem like a discount iyswim 🙄 At least with something like a MacBook you know it is a genuine deal

@Sorrel right thats so hard 😩 i would say look at the past weekly ads so you can get a good idea of typical prices

@Jade thanks yes probably should start looking now!

i live walking distance to my favorite mall so i walk there everyday for some me time, definitely going for black friday lol

@Sorrel yes good luck!! Also if you have cable or someone watch tv bc the commercials have good sales

I've gone one time in my life to people watch, but I've never gone to actually shop 😂!

Last year all the sales were garbage so I doubt it

I shop online sales!

I’d rather shop online. I can add 10 items in 5mins and call it a day and spend the rest of the day doing something more fun while waiting for my stuff in the mail. You’ll probably find me at the beach or something on any sales day I’ve already bought what I needed to online and not fighting people or crowds or waiting in every line for half an hr.

I've never seen anything good in the black Friday sales. My friend is a top retail manager and says all the big black Friday sales are stock they've had for years and couldn't sell!

I will not be getting physically assaulted by another grown up for £10 off a tv thank you 😂 some people act like complete nutters 😂
