Night time toilet training

Yes my little girl is, once she was funny potty trained she didn’t like putting a nappy on for bed as she was now a “big girl” so it was about 2 weeks into being potty trained. During the time she did have a nappy for bed if she needed a wee she would come and wake me to go. Only had 2 accidents and that was when she was poorly xx

Honestly, it varies so much. She’s been dry at night for almost a year and a half. She just shouted no when I was putting a nappy on one night (they were almost always heavy wet by morning). So we agreed to let her sleep with no nappy (I was, however, completely expecting her to wet the bed that night). We took her to the toilet as we went to bed, and when we woke in the morning she was completely dry (she always takes water to bed every night too). We stopped waking her as we went to bed after about a week, and now she wakes if she needs the toilet, and will normally just take herself.

I’d read up until 7/8 can be classed as ‘normal’ for nighttime training though

Yes. It came pretty easy a few months after he was trained during the day he started having dry nights and then we removed the nappy. We put a potty in his room incase he needed and I think there was only ever one accident in his bed.

Being dry at night is a hormonal change, not something that you can train it will just happen. We just waited until our daughter was dry for a week and took the nappy away after that.

My little girl still wears a pull up (she’s Jan 2021) to bed and it’s always full in the morning. Still no sign of being dry at night yet and she uses the toilet before bed too. She’s been potty trained since she was about 2.5 x

My daughter has been dry at night since before she was 2yo. But we’ve been struggling with potty training for almost 2 years though as she’s has withholding issues and an under-active bladder, I’d love to have many accidents at day and night 🫠

my 3.5 year old just didnt want nappies anymore during day and night. He had one accident within 4 weeks when he wet the bed. think it just comes to them when they are ready

Nope still wears a pull up. One day it’s lightly wet the next it’s soaked. Not close to stopping for us

Emilie - exactly the same, no sign of a dry night yet , I’m not going to even stress with trying right now (and he doesn’t drink water before bed)
