@Alex sorry to jump in but does it need to be connected to wifi to work ?
my daughter loves hers! she has a lullaby on whilst she’s sleeping too, she controls it all herself :)
@Olivia You need WiFi to set it up and the tonies content needs to be downloaded but once the content is downloaded, you don't need WiFi x
For me yes, was the difference between me having to stay in the room until she fell asleep and now not.
Would you consider a Yoto instead?
We got one for my daughter last year and honestly so worth it, she prefers the song tonies rather than the stories, but she dances and sings away to them. She'll put one on whilst getting ready in a morning and will have them playing in the background whilst she's playing
My 14 month old uses his all day long
@Madeleine what’s that I haven’t here’d of this
We don't have one, but have had the opportunity to play with nephews. For us it wouldn't be worth us buying one. My little one is 16 months so may be different once older (🤷♀️) but he literally played with it for 40 seconds then moved on to the next toy. Tbf he does this with most toys anyway, so I think it depends if your LO actually sits and plays with a toy for longer than 30 seconds etc without getting bored and moving on! 😅
Realised I don’t know where you’re based but if UK/EU a lot of people say Yoyo slightly tops the Tonie for longevity! https://uk.yotoplay.com
My daughter loves hers. It's soft but durable, easy to control so she can use it herself without needing me, the figures double as toys, creative tonies where you can record/play your own content.
