My little boy will be 10 months too. We've gone for things he will use throughout the year too and grow into. So far I've got: - tunnel and tent from ikea - a kinderkraft trike that does from 9 months to approx 5 years - books - building blocks I've also bought a personalised advent calendar as a more memorable gift that he can use for years too x
I've got my LB who will also be 10 months on Xmas day the following: A car play mat Some toy cars Musical books Some clothing A toy tool work bench Some tools For his birthday in Feb we have got him A ball pit and balls My first easel Some building blocks Mud kitchen He got to play with some toys from his day care that he's starting next week so going to be also getting him an expanding ball and magnetic blocks as he loved those
My list is taking into consideration we have to frontload the year (as everyone in this group will) as she has her bday 31st Jan and therefore will be almost 2 before any more “big” presents from people (grandparents mainly). So I’m looking at toys for up to 2 years as by next October/November things that are age appropriate now will be too babyish for her! Thinking energetic toddler 🙃😮💨 - soft play blocks - pikler triangle - climbing arch - balance bike - rocking horse - play kitchen - ball pit - puddle suit Keen to see other ideas too for more inspiration!
