I’m going to one in a couple of weeks. I’ve booked a special pregnancy treatment (includes a massage and facial, but tailored). In terms of the spa my understanding is you can use anything that’s not intense heat, so no saunas, or steam room and I’ve been told no jacuzzi in the past. But this place has like warm relaxation rooms, an outdoor pool (which I think is fine, just won’t use jets) and also like water beds and stuff
You can get a pregnancy specific massage at some places. Or some spas run their normal spa experiences as an adapted pregnancy safe version. For example, I did a sensory garden spa experience at 13 weeks which was adapted to be pregnancy safe.
Literally a pregnancy specific massage or a warm pool🥲 just came back from a spa break and I was so bored and annoyed😅x
The spas should know which treatments are suitable for pregnancy and if they don’t have dedicated treatments, should be able to adapt existing ones. If you have a place in mind, just send an email to see what they can offer. I had a pregnancy massage in holiday which they did with me on my side and avoided using particular oils.
Reminder to come back
