Potty training tips
Looking to get our 2yr old girl potty trained before baby brother arrives in January. She's made really good progress so far
- use her potty and the "big" potty
- we went a whole week were we made close to 10 trips a day
- likes to go by herself & empty her potty. She will come and find us to tell us she went if we're not standing at the door
- she way more interested in it now than we she was freshly 2, almost 3 now.
Our main issue is she doesn't understand that she needs to take off her underwear to pee, she'll just sit and go. This causes most of our accidents, even though she has very few. We've tried showing her videos (she loves watching her fav characters doing it), showing her what to do and correcting her in the moment.

@Christylein her favorite phrase is "it's not working". If she's made to sit on the potty she will not go but will then go back in by herself
I put mine's hand in warm water to kind of activate the process. Works probably 80% of the time.
My struggle is getting mine interested at all 😭

Hey mama, your girlie is sooo adorable!! I’m going through something similar with my almost three year old, but his issue is not going when he sits in the potty, he just holds it and says that it doesn’t come out.
