Potty training
What age did you start your little ones potty training journey? 🚽
My little boy is currently 18 months old,Recently at least once a day he takes off his nappy by himself..he’s not very verbal yet accept from the odd few words
So I’m abit indecisive if I should start potty training him because he’s not wanting to wear the nappies unless pull ups or hold off until he can communicate to when he wants to use the bathroom, any advice? Is he ready? What are the other signs of showing he’s ready💜Advice please mamas

We've had the potty in the bathroom for ages, and all of a sudden my 18 month old just got interested in it. He follows me to the bathroom and I tell him I am going for a wee, and he says wee and sits on the potty at the same time. So I just started taking his nappy of and if he goes he goes 😂 but we are very casual about it a this point. I just try to listen when he tells me. He has started saying poopies when he needs it in the last week, so maybe soon he will connect it and want to use the potty.

You can get the potty out and see what happens, he might take to it and start telling you when he needs. We introduced really early (7.5m) and it's been part of our morning, after nap and night routine, I love not having to clean poopy diaper 😂😂 We attempted potty training in September and she was doing really well and then just refused, so we took a step back, but she will say once a day to go, if prompted, she will go a few times
