Insulin
So I’ve been told I’m going on insulin for my last meal a day as metformin is giving me awful side effects
Just wondering I’ve been told I’d be getting induced at 39 weeks due to being on metformin, will it stay at 39 weeks or will I be induced earlier?

I was told metformin only would be 39 weeks and if I go on insulin it wi be 38 x
I’ve been told different things by members of the same team! Originally consultant said 39 weeks, then the doctor said 38 weeks, then got told no later than 37 weeks?! I have an appointment next week so gonna try and find out for sure. It’s annoying not knowing. But tbh you can decline it if you want, if your levels are fine and baby is measuring fine xx
I’ve been on insulin and metformin since 25 weeks. I take insulin 4 x per day and I’m not being induced til 39+1

They may look at inducing earlier with insulin but it depends on how things are going regarding if your levels are stable from then on, estimated baby size etc.
