Personally me and my husband tradition is either one gift per person or we only do stockings. I feel it doesn’t make it about present but the day because we put more out on fun games or arts and craft or we plan to get out town and do something fun. But my parents put out $100 per kid but that was awhile ago
You could always look on fb marketplace to pad it out as that age they don’t know the difference.
My son is almost three (will be in February) and I'm not 100% sure how much I spent on his Christmas presents, but it was less than $100. Probably around $85 I think
I’m buying a kitchen- $188 -we already have a lot of play food and kitchen supplies. So money saved there! Fart blaster-$24 A playhouse- but I haven’t found one I like yet Orb ball $32 Excavator car $179 And books (he loves books). We spend a lot of time outside playing “construction man”. So he will be beyond excited to have an excavator to do his construction work and a play house to drive to when he’s done working those long 5min shifts 😂😂
I have 3 under 3 so they got mostly shareable gifts (except one specifically for my 3 year old) and it all ranged to $300 I think. If even that. I will also do small things in their stockings like harmonica’s and maybe 2 more cheap things I can find at the dollar store or 5 and below that they will actually like. I’m selling and donating whatever toys they don’t use now also.
I won’t be spending more than £100. At that age especially, I’d rather invest my time and money into making seasonal memories, traditions and days out. Meeting Santa, seeing the Christmas lights, going to a light trail, elf on the shelf, Christmas themed crafts… I personally think spending £300+ is way too much but that’s no shade to anybody that does. To me I feel like it would teach kids that Christmas is more about gifts than Santa and family… but again, that’s MY personal opinion! xx
i’ve spent way too much. prob over 500 + last year when she was 3
Think we've spent £300. And £100 of that is clothes. We are going to do a toy clear out before Christmas day so he has new replacements but of all the toys he has, he plays with his paw patrol set everyday. Kids don't need loads, they have amazing imaginations. Me and my husband have said we'd rather spend money on experiences together than things.
